Digital Violence against Women with Disabilities – 16 Days of Activism 2025
The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence is observed annually from 25 November to 10 December to rally the world to end the epidemic of GBV that impacts every area of life as we know it.
This year’s theme for the 16 Days focuses on the fastest growing forms of abuse: digital violence against women and girls.
We at Engage Disability call upon everyone in the ED network to focus on “Digital violence against women with disabilities” during these 16 Days of Activism. Your observances can take many meaningful forms.
We share with you a short reflective liturgy on this theme that you could use to reflect on this theme with your local faith community/ your congregations/ institutions.
Let us UNiTE to end gender-based violence against women with disabilities.
Wishing you all meaningful observances for 16 Days of Activism: #NoExcuse for online abuse.
