A Workshop on Disability Inclusion in Bhubaneshwar took place with 30 participants. It was a day of new learning for participants: activities to understand the experience of disability, sessions in disability etiquette and the Rights of persons with disabilities act was introduced.

It was also a day of unlearning for some in their theological understanding of disability and the Scriptures. The participatory study of Scriptures to wrestle with passages related to disability was challenging as each group comprised of lay people, faith leaders, children, and youth. It was heartening to see children actively participating in some group discussions. The importance of faith leaders wrestling with scriptures dealing with disability to gain a justice perspective towards people with disabilities came through in this exercise.
