Women with Disabilities & 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence 2023
Engage Disability Calls Churches and partners to observe the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence (GBV) with the theme “Leaving No one Behind: Accelerating Actions to End GBV against Women with Disabilities.” Churches and Faith-based organisations can become key partners in this campaign. Engage Disability was invited by the Ecumenical Disability Advocacy Network of the World Council of Churches to offer a liturgy and lead the online worship for WCC staff during one of the 16 days of activism (7 Dec 2023) which was well received and appreciated.
